"I was so excited when I learned about S.A.D. Dog's services. I had read books about how to feed the Bone and Raw Food Diet a few years ago - but it was very complicated and I couldn't figure it out. Over the past 6 months, I had been feeding my dog's 'raw' but adding vegetables and other supplements to make up for not giving them raw meaty bones. I gave them recreational bones but this was not enough bone for their diet.
The time it took me to mix up the food (baking sweet potatoes and grinding vegetables in the food processor, etc.) was annoying and messy and I wasn't sure if I was feeding enough of one thing or the other. S.A.D. Dog takes all the guesswork and mess out of it and they are very knowledgeable about how to start your dog on the S.A.D. diet.
I had tried feeding RMBs to my dogs in the past but chicken breasts did not interest them and they just gnawed a bit and gave up. S.A.D. Dog marks the packages for each dog and I know I have the right amount and they are in smaller pieces that the dogs can easily chew and swallow. The only perplexing thing to me was where to feed them the RMBs, but Alissa and Rich explained how to teach them to eat on sheets or blankets and they took to that immediately.
My dogs are doing very well on the diet and had no issues with it at all and one dog is 13 1/2 and the other is 9, Boudreaux and Rowdy. I smile every time I take out the pre-mixed bags and by the way...the S.A.D. Dog diet costs LESS than I was paying to feed my dogs raw ground meat and the dogs like it better - again - no mess and fuss for me. I would recommend S.A.D. Dog to anyone who wants to improve their dog's health - it makes perfect sense to me to feed a dog as they would eat in the wild."
