"I have used SAD Dog Sushi for about two months. They are FANTASTIC and I highly recommend them. I was completely new to raw feeding when I started using their service and they walked me through the entire process. They are absolutely delightful and are available if you have questions or concerns between deliveries.
These are some of the benefits:
If new to raw they will gradually transition your dog or cat to the full variety of the diet. You would stop feeding kibble and they will start you on one or two new raw items each week so if your dog shows a dislike to something or shows a negative symptom (like gas) you can pin point the culprit.
They will package each of your dogs meals into individual quality freezer bags with your dog/cat name on it and also with the exact ingredients. You just plop it in their bowl. I have always received extremely fresh food. I wish what I got from the grocery store looked so good!
They will support you every step of the way. They are a phone call or e-mail away and are very quick to respond. They sincerely care about the well being of your furry-kids.
I have a 19 lb dog and her food costs $5/week. I have Great Dane and his food costs $35/week. This includes everything including delivery to your home. This is comparable to the premium kibble they got previously BUT consider the fact that your dog will be healthier and will not require annual teeth cleaning it is actually cheaper. Just prior to switching raw my dogs teeth were so bad the vet said it would take TWO teeth cleaning sessions. Well after a few short weeks on the raw diet his teeth are perfect. The diet saved me at least $400 in vet dental cleaning costs.
Some of the benefits I have seen on the diet have been a MUCH smaller poop size, fresher breath, clean teeth and improved overall appearance. All this has happened all in two months! You WILL see results.
Well, I can go on and on. I normally don't do product reviews but Sad Dog Sushi is exceptional. Do not hesitate to contact them. They are very willing to talk with people no strings attached."

"Zoe loves the food. I haven't weighed her yet, but she's definately gained weight with this diet. Her teeth look awesome and her coat is shinier and prettier than ever. She has tons of energy, too! I tried my dog for three months on Eukanuba Wilderness, and was completely dissatisfied with it. Over that time period my dog lost weight, her coat lost all its luster and shine and started shedding, and to top it all off... she didn't even like it. All this at over 30 dollars a bag after my employee discount! I'll never go back to kibble. Over the years I've tried brands ranging from slop (Ol Roy) to really nice stuff like Eukanuba, Nutro, Wellness, Authority, Avoderm, and middling ground brands like Pedigree and Pro Plan. I pushed Nutro for years because I had the best luck with it. I'll say it again: I don't think I'm ever going back to kibble. Thanks so much!"

"After dealing with our new puppy, Stella's food allergies, runny stools, dry itchy skin, bad breath and gas, we were desperate to find a solution to all of her health problems. She wasn't happy and neither were we! We tried every food the vet recommended and every high end food on the market. We spent so much money and time trying to find the right dog food, just to end up back at the vet paying for supplements and prescription shampoos. Finally I just had enough. I looked all over the Internet and found an article about a raw diet for pets. I have been hooked ever since! I will never go back. After feeding her raw myself for a couple of weeks and feeling overwhelmed and broke, I found the SAD dog diet on craigslist and it has been a miracle. It's easy to feed. It's pre-packaged and clearly labeled. It's way easier and also much cheaper than feeding the diet yourself or ordering from the popular BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) website, but just as good. Since transitioning Stella to SAD, we have gotten another puppy and she's been eating the diet since she was 11 weeks old! Now Stella is perfectly healthy with clean teeth and breath, and a shiny coat that amazes everyone who sees her. Our dogs don't even consider commercial dog food to be food anymore! "

"When our new puppy, Luna, got a hold of a batch of brownies I rushed her to the vet's office. They told me it would be a good idea for them to keep her overnight until her vomiting passed and she was feeling like herself again. I agreed because they are the professionals. Well, they then asked me what food she was eating so they could introduce food into her system and make sure she would eat. I told them raw. They wouldn't do it! They wanted to feed her a cheap commercial dog food instead. She already had poison in her and they wanted to feed her by-products, preservatives, and grains on top of that?! It just shows how little some vets know about a dog's nutrition! Dogs don't have the same digestive systems as people and even if they did, would you eat what's in commercial dog food? Our vet has even commented on Stella's beautiful coat and perfectly clean teeth before, and when he found out it was because of her diet he proceeded to tell me about bacteria! Talk to people who have been feeding their dogs raw and interact with their dogs. Make the decision for yourself and don't be afraid of your vet's threats if he doesn't approve. Remember that vets run a business and a Species Appropriate Diet puts a big damper on that business!"

"We have already seen a MAJOR reduction in poop sizes/amounts. We have also been amazed by how soft both coats are! We are seeing a reduction in plaque too. They are transforming before our eyes!
Thank you so much!"

"I really wish I took before pictures of Bailey's teeth. The vet said it would take TWO cleaning sessions to clean his teeth.....that means twice being sedated and he is just a year old. BUT now his teeth have NO YELLOW on them!"
-Suzanne Higbee
"...think about the cost to sedate a Great Dane twice and two teeth cleanings (not to mention the side effects of sedation) and the diet has already paid for itself for MONTHS! We just could not be happier and love to tell people about your service."

Feb. 9th "I saw your ad on craigslist and I was wondering if I could get more information. I have a small (15 lbs) dog and she has very bad skin allergies. I switched her to a prescription brand that the vet recommended and she started having seizures so I am back to square one with her skin. I was wondering what is in it and how much it is monthly?"
-Ashley Crosson, switched to S.A.D. February 13th, 2009
Feb. 25th "Her skin is so much better! I am not sure what it is in dog food that causes it. She has not had any more seizures. I spoke to her vet about it and she will neither confirm nor deny that it was the food that caused it, she is still saying it is a coincidence."
-Ashley Crosson
"I smile every time I take out the pre-mixed bags and by the way...the S.A.D. Dog diet costs LESS than I was paying to feed my dogs raw ground meat and the dogs like it better - again - no mess and fuss for me. I would recommend S.A.D. Dog to anyone who wants to improve their dog's health - it makes perfect sense to me to feed a dog as they would eat in the wild."

"S.A.D. Dog Sushi has been so great to work with. Alissa and Rich have been so accomodating and stay in contact to make sure everything is going well. They are always available to answer questions when they come up or to make modifications to the diet as needed. It feels great to know that I am giving my pets the healthiest diet possible."
